Ivan Meade

Design has always been Iván’s passion. Here, you will find more information about Ivan, his expertise, e-book and product lines. Iván has worked with interior designers locally and internationally to help them develop high-value brands for themselves.

For several years, the Meade Design Group Principal has had a number of eponymous lines including artwork and objets d’art from sterling silver. With the 2014 launch of his fabric line, Iván has the opportunity to culminate his experiences with several design disciplines into a personal narrative. Each fabric pattern represents an important part of Iván’s own life experience.

LifeMStyle’s goal is to help more people live their best lifestyle, and enjoy doing it. Doing so does not need to be costly or hard, people just need the right tools, and LifeMStyle (or M, as it is affectionately known) is here to help.

Founded by Ivan Meade, Principal Designer of Meade Design Group; M provides its readers with the tools they need to inspire themselves to live their best life everyday, in every way. Using the team’s collective resources as interior designers, graphic designers, web-developers and all-around enthusiasts of beautiful things, M was created to share all of the experience, connections and knowledge the team has accumulated.

  • Meet our MDG Team! Here’s Jeff Michaud: . Jeff has always had a love for technology and has been coding since the web began. He moved from his hometown in Ontario to enroll in UVic’s Software Engineering program. He now holds two degrees in computer science and is equipped with a broad set of skills and over 15 years of experience in developing web sites and web applications. Jeff finds his work to be both fascinating and creative. . Though he is not with Meade Design Group on a daily basis, Jeff is Meade Design Group’s original web developer and is still a valuable part of the team. Jeff continues to help on large scale projects as an IT consultant; assisting in complex custom-coding and keeping the studio ahead of the curve with the latest technologies. In his spare time, Jeff likes to run, read books, play Ultimate-Frisbee with friends, and saving the odd princess through the power of video games. . . .   • Meade Design Group had the pleasure of working with Inés Benavides, a top Interior Designer in Spain who has been recognized as one of the Most Influential Designers of the Decade. Inés and her work have been featured in some of the best interior design publications in Spain. Meade Design Group has had the pleasure of branding many talented Interior Designers in the past. . Inés' branding is professional, inviting, and one-of-a-kind, just like her. Her typographical solution consists of a hand-drawn typeface that gives her logo a creative and upbeat vibe, paired with a dynamic 'B' element that adds harmony and a sense of movement. Inés' colour palette consists of charcoal grey and white, with accents of silver foil to elevate the overall branding. . Meade Design Group provided Inés with graphic elements such as a logo and pattern repeats, as well as numerous print media consisting of business cards, presentation folders, thank you cards, authenticity cards, envelopes and letterheads. In addition to her stationery, Inés received branded wrapping paper, ribbon, tissue paper, and a personalized wax stamp with wax seals. .   • Meet our MDG Team! Here’s Ambre Fisher: . Ambre designs because she loves creating beauty and telling our client’s story through design. Nothing is more satisfying for her than seeing the process unfold: from initial inception, to overcoming design and construction challenges, and ending with a beautiful project and happy clients. . Ambre (pronounced Amber) has called Victoria home since 2004, leaving once to complete a BA in Communications (hon.), and secondly for her Interior Design Diploma (hon.). Within six years of working in the design industry, Ambre has worked on projects across Canada and the States, including high end residential, restaurants, private health, tech offices and hotels. In her past life, Ambre lived and studied abroad in Australia, South America and Europe. Travel is a passion and acts as a continual source of inspiration and education for her.
