Humboldt Street

The retiree clients behind this stunning condo project were looking for a way to blend their beautiful antiques and art with their new, downsized location featuring contemporary architecture.

Our first suggestion was the use of new, herringbone floors which seamlessly integrate the old and new elements within the space. Considerable millwork was designed to further enhance the idea that everything old and new can be connected and serve a purpose that works well for the clients and their lifestyles.

Boldly scaled patterns were paired with a soft blue colour palette to create an interesting juxtaposition that doesn’t overpower the space. Custom furnishings were implemented to make use of each square inch and optimize usability and comfort. In the end, the clients now feel very connected to their tailor-made forever home.
