Design has always been Iván’s passion. Here, you will find more information about Ivan, his expertise, e-book and product lines. Iván has worked with interior designers locally and internationally to help them develop high-value brands for themselves.

For several years, the Meade Design Group Principal has had a number of eponymous lines including artwork and objets d’art from sterling silver. With the 2014 launch of his fabric line, Iván has the opportunity to culminate his experiences with several design disciplines into a personal narrative. Each fabric pattern represents an important part of Iván’s own life experience.

LifeMStyle’s goal is to help more people live their best lifestyle, and enjoy doing it. Doing so does not need to be costly or hard, people just need the right tools, and LifeMStyle (or M, as it is affectionately known) is here to help.

Founded by Ivan Meade, Principal Designer of Meade Design Group; M provides its readers with the tools they need to inspire themselves to live their best life everyday, in every way. Using the team’s collective resources as interior designers, graphic designers, web-developers and all-around enthusiasts of beautiful things, M was created to share all of the experience, connections and knowledge the team has accumulated.

For the Courtney Street penthouse contemporary, eclectic pieces were introduced in a bold yet classic neutral scheme with layering textures and pops of bright yellow. Sweeping organic, low forms encourage movement in the space and offset the rigidity of some of the building’s more industrial, rectilinear elements while enhancing the expansive views.

High ceilings were highlighted yet brought to human scale with the use of custom, modern lighting and suspended furnishings while the new fireplace millwork adds a romantic element for the couple to enjoy when they are ready to unwind from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

Introducing DUO Café, a fusion of interior and graphic design, was born from a vision to create a space steeped in warmth, invitation, and the artistic essence of Emily Carr’s work. Meade Design Group’s goal was clear: to craft an ambiance that marries comfort with creativity, drawing inspiration from West Coast artwork and style. The colour palette is a testament to this vision, blending vibrant warm hues with subtle sophistication to evoke a sense of intimacy and conviviality. A pattern repeat was created merging DUO’s crown logo mark with the café’s square floor tiles to bring a cohesiveness to both interiors and graphics; DUO’s graphic identity is seamlessly integrated into its aesthetics; from bespoke signage to branded merchandise, each element reflects the cafe’s personality with finesse. Whether it’s a custom coffee cup or window details, every detail is thoughtfully curated to ensure a harmonious blend of style and functionality.
