Modern Home Victoria is a new local directory and online magazine in Victoria BC that showcases what is new and exciting in our industry. If you have not seen it yet; you are definitely missing out on a great source of information and inspiration.

We updated one of Victoria BC’s best art galleries with a new site which makes updating (thanks to CMS via WordPress) and online purchasing (e-commerce) a breeze. With these great new features, we have also made the website responsive, meaning that it looks just as great on smart phones, tablets and small screens as it does on larger screens.
The new look is subtle and clean. The greyscale palette allows all of the artwork to pop while maintaining an unobtrusive and contemporary aesthetic.
We are excited to enable The Avenue Gallery to extend their reach beyond Oak Bay Avenue to the rest of BC, Canada, and indeed the world wide web.
April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month, and as many of our clients and colleagues know, our principal, Ivan Meade was diagnosed with stage III-B testicular cancer in the summer of 2011 at the age of 37. His prognosis is much better now, but he is still fighting the battle against testicular cancer.
During his treatment, although there were many sources of information on Cancer available, he struggled to find information on his particular condition. He was also shocked to hear that none of his peers were educated about regular checkup procedures to prevent this from happening to them.
In an effort to put a positive spin on his experience, and use the resources at our disposal (the graphic and web design side of Meade Design Group) Meade Design Group is pleased to be partnering with Testicular Cancer Canada, encouraging men to give themselves regular checkups, and spread the word about this disease. Spring has sprung and we are busy bees here at Meade Design Group studio!
We’ve got big new projects on the go that we can’t wait to share with you – in both interiors and graphics. They’re all in the works right now, but by next newsletter we should have some gorgeous imagery to include! We have a few recently completed projects we will be including on our website soon, but for now, we have a different kind of big reveal we want to promote – we’ve been working very hard for a few years now and are ready to launch a very special project with you which you can learn more about below.
