Customize Your Ivan Meade Fabrics

Custom background colours have been a huge hit for all our fabric clients, especially for interior designers wanting the perfect custom colour for their project.

One of our clients wanted to reupholster a set of beautiful Georgian mahogany dining chairs.  They were family heirlooms and such a special dining set deserved the perfect custom fabric.  Ivan created our newest custom background colour tierra to compliment the rich wood tones in the dining set.

Our background colours are only limited by your imagination.  How will you make them your own?

EVERY PATTERN HAS A STORY: PARISIAN-INSPIRED FOLLOW-UP TO IVÁN MEADE FABRIC LINE

Ivan Meade FabricFrance, its people, and their way of life have always intrigued and inspired Meade. For the latest release of his eponymous fabric line, Meade continues his personal narrative with a distinct je ne sais quoi. To perfectly capture his vision, Meade used the Parisian influence to photograph this exciting new line in a beautiful French light.

Mariposa is an ode to Meade’s beloved mother, Maria Celia, and embraces her style of modern interpretations of old classics. The traditional toile-influenced motif when printed against a soft, Rosa background creates an unexpected beauty.

Vista Hermosa is inspired by the tile patterns in Meade’s grandparents’ neoclassical home in San Luis Potosi and is all at one geometric, feminine, and modern. Reminiscent of lace or leatherwork, it is a versatile, mid-scale pattern.

Tidman Construction’s New Website

Website Design Contractor DeveloperTake a peek at Tidman Construction’s new online look at: www.tidmangroup.com courtesy of Meade Design Group!

65 years young and third generation family business, Tidman Construction was in need of an updated website. We made use of a CMS via WordPress which makes real-time updates super easy for their staff. With these great new features, we have also made the website responsive, meaning that it looks just as great on smart phones, tablets and small screens as it does on larger screens.

Tidman construction wanted something that would reflect the timeless quality of their work. The design is clean yet classic and very easy to navigate with subtle branding throughout.

Save Those Nuts!

Save Those NutsApril is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month, and as many of our clients and colleagues know, our principal, Ivan Meade was diagnosed with stage III-B testicular cancer in the summer of 2011 at the age of 37. His prognosis is much better now, but he is still fighting the battle against testicular cancer.

During his treatment, although there were many sources of information on Cancer available, he struggled to find information on his particular condition. He was also shocked to hear that none of his peers were educated about regular checkup procedures to prevent this from happening to them.

In an effort to put a positive spin on his experience, and use the resources at our disposal (the graphic and web design side of Meade Design Group) Meade Design Group is pleased to be partnering with Testicular Cancer Canada, encouraging men to give themselves regular checkups, and spread the word about this disease.
