Make It Real Design – Interior Design

Make It Real Design is an interior design and contracting company based out of Victoria, B.C. that specialized in bringing your renewal projects to life. Interior Designer, Sherry Willing and contractor, Dana Willing approached Meade Design Group to create a brand identity to bring their company to life.

While Sherry wanted the logo to express her love for the art scene, stand out from the rest, and have a hint of cheekiness, and Dana requested a balance logo with structure, and simplicity – Meade Design Group created two concepts of the logo to differentiate both Sherry and Dana’s specialties. Make It Real’s Interiors logo is represented by the artsy and playful “Sam the Cat”, while the Contracting logo is defined by a modern, simplistic house structure.

Using a clean sans-serif typeface, clever graphics, and a trendy colour palette of navy blue and mustard yellow, we delivered a unique brand identity that pops and perfect represents both Sherry and Dana’s skills and personalities. Meade Design Group had the pleasure of designing both logos, the company’s brand identity, business cards, and a custom website.

Mason & Daly

Based in Barkerville, Northern Canada since 1980, Mason & Daly General Merchants is a family-owned company created by brothers William, Robert, and Douglas Rummel, alongside C. Strouss and Company. Doug from Mason & Daly reached out to Meade Design Group to create an e-commerce site to promote and sell their merchandise while promoting their historic town of Barkerville. Inspired by the Barkerville logo, the Mason & Daly logo is historical yet elegant, with gold foil incorporated. The typography is a mixture of classical serif fonts and modern calligraphy, making it both contemporary and distinctive, with a historical flare.

We applied graphic embellishments throughout the website to create an authentic and elegant look. Alongside the logo and a custom website, we designed Mason & Daly business cards to extend their refreshed branding.

Farm – Downtown

FARM flagship store, located downtown Victoria on Douglas Street, is one of Canada’s largest retail medical marijuana dispensary companies.

Their new location combines sophistication and the contemporary while respecting the history of their location which is the Porter Block Corner building in Victoria. Inside customers will feel impressed by the high-end light fixtures, brass accents, and the custom monogram inset into the terrazzo-inspired floor. In addition Meade Design incorporated classic elements such as large scale historical wall murals, subway tiles, and mock stained-glass. The overall effect is stunning and it commemorates the building’s history while giving customers a comfortable, confident, yet unique shopping experience.

Atmosphere Interior Design

Based out of Saskatoon, Ontario, Atmosphere Interior Design studio has built a strong reputation for themselves over the past several years. When they asked us to design their business cards and a custom website, we were thrilled. We wanted to give their brand an upscale feeling that matched the precision and luxury of their interior design work. Using stone and fabric textures for the business cards and website, we translated the tactility of designing a space into a graphic design element that was meant to make an impression.

Vital Point

Massage therapy and acupuncture clinic Vital Point was looking for an identity that was clean, bold, and reflected their practice of working with the human body. We developed a simple but memorable aesthetic approach that revolved around revealing the muscles working beneath the skin. This approach was then applied to their website, business cards, and stationary package to create a continuous and comprehensive identity.
