Bear & Joey Cosmetics

Meade Design Group had the pleasure of working with owner and founder of Bear & Joey Café yet again on their new and exciting endeavour – Bear & Joey Cosmetics.

For this cruelty free cosmetics range a bright and upbeat palette was curated with accents of gold for the packaging to stand apart from its competitors, while maintaining consistency with its big sister, Bear & Joey Café.

Meade Design Group created the brand identity, eCommerce website, as well as custom packing tape, tissue paper, thank you cards, and stickers. Gold foiled bags was designed for the exfoliating coffee scrub collection, elevating the packaging and adding that extra self-care luxury moment. Meade Design Group is continues to work on the packaging designs for upcoming products – keep an eye out!

Proper Poke

Meade Design Group had the pleasure of working with talented piercer and resident badass Amus Beasto to brand her new tattoo and piercing shop in the heart of beautiful Victoria, B.C. Alongside the graphics for branding Proper Poke, Meade Design Group also assisted in interiors and material selections.

Proper Poke branding is both sophisticated and edgy. The typographical solution is made up of a beautiful, modern serif typeface, incorporating a small gold moment representative of a piercing. A rich, bold colour palette was curated including accents of gold to give the shop an overall elegant, professional and inviting look. The space is unique from other local shops making it memorable and hard to miss when walking or driving past.

Meade Design Group provided Proper Poke with a branding package, as well as stationery deliverables including gold foiled business cards, appointment booking cards, interior bathroom signage, sandwich boards and exterior signage including a personalized address number.

Fayze Contracting

Founder of Fayze Contracting approached Meade Design Group to create a professional, strong and memorable brand package for his company to both level up in the league in which he competes, and the overall perception of his brand.

A neutral and material-inspired palette was curated for the brand, giving it elegance and timelessness while merging a more natural West Coast style. The typographical solution consists of bold, modern letterforms made up of horizontal lines to create a unique and compelling solution. The company’s name was then balanced with the word ‘BUILT’ in a thin typeface giving the brand memorability and differentiating from other local contracting companies.

Meade Design Group had the pleasure of providing Fayze Contracting with a branding package, as well as large-scale site outdoor signs incorporating wood, metal and dimensional lettering. The wooden structure of the signage is finished with a stain to give it the ‘new build’ look while the metal wrap overlay is meant to rust in the elements to give it a ‘West Coast weathered’ patina; the juxtaposition of the signage materials and finishes stand out and elevate the overall brand.

Barclay’s Fine Jewellers

Barclay’s newly renovated showroom is located in quaint Oak Bay Avenue located in Victoria, BC. This project required Meade Design Group’s interiors and graphics expertise for both the interior and exterior of the jewellery store, creating an elegant, memorable and refined design overall.

Meade Design incorporated statement lighting, a custom coloured carpet, undulating lit display cases, as well as an “elegant” blend of textures including gold tones, silk, velvet, mirrors, shagreen and grass cloth, all grounded by black and charcoal wood tones. Branding was incorporated throughout with a mix of over-scaled and pattern repeat iterations of the logo using various methods of fabrication. The end result is a space that is inviting yet luxurious.

Melina Boucher

Melina Boucher is a high end real estate agent specializing in core Victoria neighbourhoods such as Oak Bay, Fairfield and James Bay. Melina reached out to Meade Design Group to create her a clean, modern and professional brand identity, stationery and website to elevate her thriving business.

A sophisticated brand palette with accents of rose gold was chosen to make the client stand out from other estate agents within the area. The typographical solution consists of a modern serif typeface, supported with a dynamic logo mark, designed to mimic the shape of a home. The end result was a clean, experienced and elevated logo that is both timeless and recognizable.

Meade Design Group had the pleasure of providing Melina with a brand identity, rose gold foiled business cards, thank you cards, personalized brochure, letterheads, presentation folders, folding holiday desk calendar sleeve, For Sale signage and sign toppers, and a custom website.
